======Scimitar LC====== The Scimitar LC (Scimi LC), is an important role. You have a few responsibilities and this guide will outline all of the things you have to do. You do not need any special skill points, or special assets to be the Scimitar LC however, you should be a good Scimitar pilot. =====Scimitar LC Responsibilities===== * Assigning Tracking Links * Keep an eye on new Basilisk pilots, give them tips. ====Tracking Links==== The only part of your job that requires you to deal with the MOTD is to assign tracking link targets ( to tell Scimitars who they need to give their remote tracking link to). ===Link Distribution Priority=== - The DDD should get three tracking links. (Two tracking + One optimal (void) or One tracking + Two optimal (Antimatter)) - The HHH and SSS should get one link (Optimal) - All remaining Vindicators should get one Optimal. <wrap em>Do not give Vindicators more than one link.</wrap> - Nightmares should get a single tracking - Machariels should get a single tracking <wrap em>In TCRC all links go to the DDD.</wrap> Never link the FC! =====Similove MOTD===== As explained above the biggest part of your role is to organise Scimitar Links. This envolves editing the MOTD. To do this you will need operator rights. If you do not have them, please ask an FC, or the Scimitar LC you are replacing to give them to you. Scimilove MOTD can be broken into two sections. - Logi Information such as standard procedure for entering sites, assigning links etc. - Fleet Information, this includes who the FC is, DDD, AAA and other roles important to the Scimitar team. <WRAP group> <WRAP half column > This section (the fleet information section) is the only part you edit EVER. Always keep the roles up to date with the active pilots who are flying them, please also link them in the channel it is faster for you and it means other logi can right click > add to watch list. Please also keep the link distribution up to date. As you can see here it includes from left to right, the logi pilot, with the number of links he or she has (x3), and the three people they are linking. Note that if the target for links is a DDD, HHH or SSS you should include it after the targets name. </WRAP> <WRAP half column > {{:guides:scimilovemotd.png?nolink|}} </WRAP> </WRAP> =====New Bro Scimitars===== Occasionally you will get a new bro Scimitar. When you do, as the LC you should be keeping an extra eye on this pilot making sure he/she is safe, working properly. Don't be afraid to give him/her information he or she needs via Scimilove and/or coms.
